Author Spotlight on: TERI ANNE STANLEY

This week's spotlight is on Teri Anne Stanley.

Teri Anne Stanley is a scientist turned romantic—or a romantic in a lab coat. Or something like that. She began her writing career with scientific articles—followed by a three-ingredient recipe column, but wasn't allowed to write naked parts for them—so now she writes romance.
She's also worked as a fashion designer for female body builders and a sex therapist for rats. In her spare time, she’s a neuroscience research assistant. Along with a variety of offspring and dogs, she and Mr. Stanley live just outside of Sugartit, which is—honest to God—between Beaverlick and Rabbit Hash, Kentucky.

DRUNK ON YOU

Allie McGrath, the youngest daughter of the distillery’s co-owners and the one woman he can’t have. If he can’t keep their attraction under control, there’s a solid chance they’ll send the whole enterprise crumbling to the ground…if he doesn’t crash and burn first.

BACK COVER

The past is repeating itself—and time is running out

It’s been more than two years since homicide detective Livy Reynolds’s cousin disappeared from Logan Point. Unlike most people in her hometown, Livy has never believed that Robyn left voluntarily. When Dallas private investigator Alex Jennings contacts her concerning a senator’s missing granddaughter who was last seen in Logan Point, Livy notices eerie similarities between the two disappearances. With self-doubt plaguing her after killing a teenager in the line of duty and an almost instant dislike of the self-assured PI, she’s finding this investigation an uphill battle. But with the prospect of finding her cousin on the horizon, she’ll have to find a way to work with Alex—before it’s too late.

Award-winning author Patricia Bradley keeps you on the edge of your seat with a case—and a relationship—that is anything but certain.

“Patricia Bradley has hit a home run. The suspense is high, the romance is sweet, and the villain is one you want to see caught and brought to justice. Gone without A Trace, a novel of forgiveness and finding one’s place in the world, brings home the point that while not everything in life may go the way you want, God is still in control. Can’t wait for the next book!”—Lynette Eason, bestselling, award-winning author of the Hidden Identity series

Patricia Bradley is the winner of a 2012 Daphne du Maurier Award and a 2012 Touched by Love Award and was also a finalist for the 2012 Genesis Award. MARK PERINI:
Mark Perini began his career as an international fashion model ten years ago, while simultaneously obtaining a business degree from Seton Hall University. He is also a featured author in the New Adult anthology, Fifty First Times.

When he's not working, Mark's traveling the world. He's made a blood pact with friends to see all seven ancient wonders of the world before he's thirty. Four down three to go.

Julie's Bio:

I’ve always loved a good story that leaves me feeling uplifted, and if it includes romance, even better.
That’s what led me on my journey to become a multi-published author of inspirational romance. I grew up in a small Oklahoma town where my family farmed and ranched. I went on to study Journalism / Professional Writing at the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!).
These days I live in a not-so-big city with my amazing husband and two young sons. Living in a house full of boys is a lot of fun, and they do a great job tolerating all my nerdy quirks. I’m a proud member of America Christian Fiction Writers, which is where I’ve met some truly wonderful people.
048 Jarnagin10 Fun Facts
1. Growing up, I “helped” my dad with the farming. Actually, I would fall asleep in his truck until he finished all the work and woke me up to go fishing.
2. I’m afraid of hippos. I watched a show about how aggressive they are. I used to think they were cute – now I think they’re just mean.
3. Traveling is fun, but there is nowhere like home. I’ll always be a homebody at heart.
4. I love coffee ice cream and any kind of dark chocolate.
5. I met my husband when I was working in a cafeteria. I knew he really liked me if he could see past the apron and plastic gloves.
6. Every single day I’m in my office, I have my space heater blowing directly on my feet.
7. I love Christmas movies. We watch them constantly from Thanksgiving to Christmas. ElfWhite Christmas, and Christmas Vacation are some of my favorites.
8. I’m not a great cook, but I love food and can’t get enough of Top Chef and other cooking shows.
9. I like anything sour. My favorite was cutting a lemon in half, pouring salt on it, sucking out the juice, and then, turning it inside out to eat the inside. I finally listened to my dentist and stopped.
10. One of my favorite chapters of the Bible is Psalm 84. It’s so beautiful! 1 How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty! 2 My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. 3 Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young—a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God.
